Jun. 15 - NewWood Plant is Now in Production Phase
NewWood Manufacturing, Inc. has brought a 275,000 square foot manufacturing plant in rural Grays Harbor County back to life, which had been dormant since January of 2006. Using a patented process, NewWood combines wood and plastic waste redirected from local landfills to create a 100% recycled building material. This 7/16th inch wood-plastic composite panel has the potential to revolutionize the building industry, and NewWood is ecstatic to announce the first four by eight foot sheets were shipped out just last week.

NewWood Manufacturing, Inc. (NewWood), a manufacturer of sustainable wood-plastic composite building material, has recently added to their executive team. The company has hired Brian Tegen as CFO and Controller and Lincoln Ferris as Vice President of Strategic Development.
Jan. 19 - NewWood Hires Environmental Health and Safety Manager
NewWood Manufacturing, Inc. (NewWood) recently welcomed Joe Fairchild to their team of professionals at the company’s Elma plant. In his new role as Environmental Health and Safety Manager, Fairchild will be responsible for designing and implementing a safety program for NewWood.

Nov. 1 - NEWWOOD MANUFACTURING, INC. OPENS NEW MANUFACTURING PLANT IN ELMA
NewWood Manufacturing, Inc. (NewWood), a manufacturer of sustainable wood-plastic composite building materials today announced the opening of a 275,000 square foot facility in the Satsop Development Park in Elma. The company plans to employ 150 individuals in a region facing an unemployment rate of 12.0%.
