Research
NewWood products are the most water resistant on the market because over half of it's properties are plastic. Because it won't absorb water, it's a better choice for construction forms or underlayment as well as any outdoor surface in the Pacific Northwest like fencing.
Because of the mixture of recycled flaked wood and plastic, NewWood is more pliable than traditional wood planks and doesn't splinter like most pallets. It can also be washed over and over again, adding to the longevity of fruit bins or any surface that contacts food.
